That’s why, alongside our Kwathu Smart Innovation Farms, we’ve been designing AgroTrax: a next-generation agri-logistics fleet that lives both in the real world and in our upcoming simulation game, Kwathu Farms.
From Vision to Vehicle — The NoxTrax Story
Our Engineering CTO, Alvaro Anaenugwu, founded NoxTrax to imagine modular, low-cost, and locally maintainable transport solutions for smallholder farming communities.
Within NoxTrax, the AgroTrax line was co-created with the Q2 Corporation team, and it focuses specifically on agriculture — vehicles and add-ons designed to handle rugged terrain, reduce post-harvest loss, and make farm-to-market movement accessible.
What began as engineering sketches is now evolving into a full virtual fleet for Kwathu Farms, where players can buy, rent, and upgrade vehicles as they scale their farms.
Why Logistics Matters in Farming
In many smallholder systems, harvest gets lost between the field and the market. Roads are rough, transport is expensive, and farmers lack equipment that’s affordable, serviceable, and efficient.
AgroTrax solves this in-game — and models what we believe can be done in the real world — by creating affordable, adaptable machines that:
- Move goods efficiently over mixed terrain.
- Use solar-assist tech to cut fuel costs and power cold storage.
- Encourage entrepreneurship — players can own and rent out their vehicles for in-game credits.

- 🛺 KEKE 3-Wheel Utility – rugged three-wheeler with customizable bed for diverse farm jobs.
- 🚜 Tractor-Truck – versatile tractor with detachable cargo bed for farm work and produce transport.
- 🚚 Cold-Chain Trailer – keeps perishables fresh and market-ready.
- ☀️ Solar-Assist Add-On – modular kit for range extension and off-grid power.
Each machine has been designed to feel mechanically authentic (weight, fuel/energy needs, maintenance cycles) while staying accessible and fun for gameplay.
More Than Gameplay — A Lesson in Economics
Inside the game, AgroTrax vehicles create a player-driven logistics economy:
- Players can purchase vehicles with real currency.
- Then rent them out for in-game credits, creating the feeling of running a transport business while sustaining the game economy.
- Maintenance, fuel, and solar upgrades add strategy and realism.
This loop teaches entrepreneurship, reinvestment, and logistics economics — while creating a sustainable way for us to fund and expand the game.
From Malawi to the World
While inspired by the transport challenges of African farming systems, the design principles are universal: low cost, repairable, efficient, and scalable.
By bringing AgroTrax to life in Kwathu Farms, we’re not only giving players smarter tools — we’re re-imagining what farming logistics could look like for real farmers and future innovators everywhere.
Next: Once the first AgroTrax fleet is fully tested in the game, we’ll explore partnerships to pilot prototypes in real smart villages — letting the line move from playable to practical.
